TAKE A VIRTUAL TRIP ACROSS AMERICA:

Editor’s Notes: “Are you kidding? Of course I’ll go!” My exact words to Forrest Tosie as we made our plans for the ’96 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour. We had just finished the Salina, Kansas to Chicago, Illinois leg of the ’95 Power Tour. Little did we know that on May 14, 1996 (about the time that the ’96 Power Tour would bed down in Kansas City) my first child Kyle would be born.

So while Forrest (our Sales Vice President for the Eastern U.S.) enjoyed a nice, leisurely cruise across America, I stayed behind reveling in the uncertainty, exhaustion and shear terror of my wife’s prolonged delivery. It was everything I thought it would be — and so much more.
